What stayed with me here was not the final message, but the slowness inside the process.
“The point is not the thing. The point is spending time.”
There is something quietly true in that.
Sometimes creation does not awaken us because of what we produce, but because for a moment our attention fully returns to what our hands are actually doing.
It's hard to imagine what it was like when most things had to be hand-made. Everything is so easily at our fingertips and we buy so much that we don't actually need.
Aye, I make small crafts for table top gaming and what I do is obsolete now because the 3D printer can do it faster and cleaner then I can, and for some things it's best to mass produce them but for some things having a hand made touch is very nice and almost nostalgic now.
Isn’t this the way life really is when we allow the master potter to work with us - even breaking us down and reforming us - we are all unique and those that try so hard to conform miss the beauty that is creation!!
I had to read the poem twice to catch the deeper meaning in this one, not because of the poem, i just read it so quickly the first time but the second time I picked up on the disposable economy and the lost craft of making things. I think you have a lot of layers in your poems that are hidden under rhyme and rhythm
Thank ye kindly for spending time with my piece and rereading it. That means a lot. I don't always have a deeper meaning in my pieces some are just for entertainment. but there are a few I do tuck layered meaning in under the entertainment. ✨🦋
This is so good. I love this take on the prompt
awe, thank ye kindly, It took me a while to find an angle i could work with, this was one of the harder prompts for me. ✨🦋

Aye, the process is sometimes more important than the sum of the parts. Thank ye kindly as always for reading and commenting 😁
Wonderful poem with a great theme and message.

Aye, there is much that can me molded from us if we just trust the process. ✨🦋
